Alif Ensemble (LB/PS/EG/IQ)

- Beirut & Beyond!

Alif Ensemble is a very fortunate result of inventive young artists meeting up, exchanging ideas and founded a pan-Arab musical collective. The five members hail from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine and Iraq, and are all multitalented musicians with their own projects. Since their first performance in 2012, they have had gigs in every nook and cranny of the Middle East and Europe, including last year’s Osloworld, where they performed both solo and as an ensemble, mesmerising the audience with their versatile and atmospheric music. They demonstrated how each musician can stand out in his own sense, while still filling his role as a part of the ensemble.

Lineup:
Khyam Allami (Oud)
Tamer Abu Ghazaleh (Vocals, Buzuq)
