Afrocentric Future

How has post-colonial African identities been re-invented through music? And how could we create a future centered in Africa? Does Afrofuturism reclaim ownership over what is considered black identity with art, culture and political resistance? These are some of the questions we have to address, keeping in mind a context of new digital technologies, new economic markets and transnational mobilities.
