How has post-colonial African identities been re-invented through music? And how could we create a future centered in Africa? Does Afrofuturism reclaim ownership over what is considered black identity with art, culture and political resistance? These are some of the questions we have to address, keeping in mind a context of new digital technologies, new economic markets and transnational mobilities.

- Minna Salami writes, speaks and advocates on a broad range of Africa, Diaspora and feminist issues. She writes the award-winning blog MsAfropolitan.
- Benjamin Lebrave is a DJ, Journalist and CEO of Akwaaba Music, an Accra based label and agency connecting African artists with global audiences and opportunities.
- Kent Horne is a former employee at Snøhetta, now running his own firm Mellomrom. He is also hosting the world wide listening party Classic Album Sundays in Oslo and is a well known DJ.
