Before the opening concert, Oslo World invites everyone to a free gathering at Glasshuset in Oslo Concert Hall. There will be snacks and you can print your own sustainable festival merch at 10/10's stand if you bring clothes. You are also invited to We are all from Everywhere, a panel discussion about music and belonging with Jorge Drexler, Sara Camille and Leo Doria, moderated by journalist Preethi Nallu.
Jorge Drexler
A musical legend from Uruguay who will play a solo show at Sentrum Scene on Oct 29. The starting point for the panel talk, We are all from everywhere, is a quote from a short poem he posted on Instagram after a concert in Stockholm. It is also a theme he has elaborated on in previous talks - and, of course, his music.
Sarah Camille
Sarah Camille Ramin Osmundsen (born in 1991 in Paris) is a Norwegian artist. She won a Norwegian Grammy in 2020 for the children’s album Spor av dråper og røde nebb and has worked as lyricist and playwright in many performing arts projects and theater productions.
Leo Doria (Heia Brasil)
Leo Doria is the founder and chief-editor of Heia Brasil, an organization with the objective to promote the relation between Brazil and Norway. He has also worked as a senior advisor at the Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) the last 15 years.
Moderator: Preethi Nallu
Preethi Nallu is a writer, researcher, filmmaker and advocacy specialist. She has worked for mainstream media outlets such as Al Jazeera English and Foreign Policy, global think tanks such as Chatham House, and led multimedia campaigns for the UN and global NGOs.
