  • Union Scene
  • Starts at 13:30
  • Price: Info about price can be found at kulturytring.no

Oslo World will take part in Norway's largest arena for arts and culture policy at Kulturytring in Drammen in June.

This seminar will delve into important themes such as the role of art in activism, the power of young people in shaping the future, and the importance of amplifying diverse voices in both a global and Norwegian context. This is an opportunity to hear from some of the most exciting artists and activists of our time.

The panel features three remarkable artists and activists: Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen, Amanda Delara and Cliff Moustache.

Oslo World stab 2022 Lars Opstad 046
It is moderated by Alexandra Archetti Stølen, the festival director of Oslo World.

These are just some of the topics that will be addressed during the talks:

The power of storytelling. The importance of preserving and promoting unheard cultures through music and art. How can art be used as a platform for activism and social change? Do we lack icons of change in Norwegian society? Is Norway making us too comfortable, that we don’t dare to be activists? Is self-censorship or consensus culture an obstacle for changemaking?
