Oslo World Youth: BRITZ, Malik, Adama Janlo

Oslo World and Deichman present this year's youth concert at Deichman Bjørvika! On stage you will experience three shooting stars; Adama Janlo, BRITZ and Malik.

BRITZ

By challenging and exploring multiple identities, Britz has delivered heavy but sensitive rap that creates encounters between different cultures. The rapper from Haugenstua had an unforgettable last year, with impressive by:Larm performances, a sold-out concert at Parkteatret and the release of the EP Tiden i mell. Now he is working on an EP that fuses Ghanaian music culture with his Norwegian upbringing. The Spellemann nominee Pacify has produced the EP. It's "Britz Szn" in 2024 and we're looking forward to the concert at Oslo World!

Malik

Malik was born and raised in Bergen, where the rain falls first. He wants to put his own stamp on the hip hop genre and shine a spotlight on the challenges of growing up as a Norwegian with a minority background. In less than a year, Malik has already managed to make his mark on the Norwegian music scene with  intense, enthralling concerts at, among others, Øyafestivalen, Vill Vill Vest and Trondheim Calling. Now it is finally Oslo World and UNG's turn!

Adama Janlo

The multi-talented Adama Janlo is an incendiary vocalist who mixes blues, R&B and neo soul. Last year she released her debut EP Misaligned, which received 10/10 from Musikknyheter and a sold-out release concert at Kulturhuset the same evening. In 2024, Janlo has released several singles, made her debut as an actor in the Norwegian Opera and received a scholarship from the Norwegian Blues Union during this year's Notodden blues festival. During Oslo World, Janlo premieres her very first solo performance Ganu Fɔlɔ Donkɛ, where she debuts as both a screenwriter and narrator, in addition to being a musician and actress.
