Oslo World's youth council has put together an evening of music, for youth and young adults.
In 2018, Dutty Dior had his big breakthrough, after releasing the songs "Plis", "Fantasi" and last but not least, the single "HALLO" with Isah, which has passed 23 million streams and won the award for song of the year on P3 Gull in 2019. Dutty is an extremely productive artist, who last year managed to release the critically acclaimed mixtape «PARA / NORMAL», as well as the long-awaited debut album «BHD», which has already passed 5.5 million streams. This year he has released three singles so far; «COME», «MOSHPIT» and «STATUS». Furthermore, rumors of a Kjartan Lauritzen collaboration are pending, as well as several genre-breaking singles and projects.
DARKBOAT is a Norwegian-Ghanaian artist, self-taught producer and established DJ in Oslo. She has been spinning records for years as DJ TELEFONGRL but has finally replaced the turntables with a microphone. DARKBOAT debuted with the song "UBER BLACK" this summer and has garnered a lot of attention both at home and abroad. The debutant offers a new and exciting sound within R&B, afropop and electronic music. Inspired by his uncle, who was a producer and techno DJ in the 90's, a musical library of different genres can be expected in DARKBOAT's future releases.
The multi-talented Ousu Leigh started his musical journey in 2019 by being hand-picked by a jury to perform at the by:Larm festival in Oslo. With the debut single "Notice", he was listed on NRK P3 Urørt. Since then, he has been featured by 730.no, Red Bull music, GAFFA, and JaJaJa's top "5 Norwegian artists to see in 2019", and he was nominated for P3 Urørt. The EP "Chess", which was released the same year, was the result of two years of steady work, to find the right sound, and it received great reviews. His latest single and music video "Make a Problem" was recorded while visiting family in Gambia and was written in an attempt to catch the joy of Gambia's most played genre - afrobeat. It certainly worked!
We became acquainted with LOUAM when she released the single "BabyBaby" in 2017 and since then we have followed her closely. With LOUAM’s debut album "Wreckless Love", she continued to impress both at home and abroad, with a strong rnb sound. Since then, she has released several singles to rave reviews both at home and abroad.
