Festival Guide: The hottest dance floors!
Five hot alternatives during this years Oslo World.
Oslo World takes place from October 28 to November 2 - this year, the city will once again be packed with concerts and clubbing experiences at the best venues!
But what should you choose? Leading up to the festival, Oslo World will share a series of guides through the festival week. We will try to make some good suggestions – whether you want to dance or stand/sit and listen, whether you want to see something that is completely new or something legendary.
In this edition: The hottest dance floors. It is hard to make any kind of weather guarantee in week 44 – November is November, after all. But i’s warm inside, and the week will be full of boiling dance floors and sweaty, ecstatic concert experiences.
It is well worth checking out the entire club program, both at Jaeger and Hærverk, where it’s happening all week long. But here's a list of five tips for concerts and club events where the atmosphere will be completely at its peak – an Argentinian superduo, a trap diva from the Balkans, a Cuban funk futurist, a Singeli sensation and a Punjabi shooting star.
Booking of the year? To be able to present CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso at Sentrum Scene in 2025 borders on the sensational. The Argentine duo are conquering stadiums around the world, putting an indelible mark on the Latin music landscape with a sound that is eclectic, shamelessly catchy and fun. Since teaming up in 2018, they have mixed trap, funk, Latin rhythms, pop, and electronic touches, pushing genre boundaries with every release.
Charismatic, genre-defiant, and musically effortless, a concert with CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso is an event where raunchy humor, emotional depth and deep interplay comes together in unexpected ways. We have worked hard to get them to come to Oslo World. This fall, in collaboration with All Things Live, the dream comes true – don’t miss out!

During Oslo World 2025, one of the biggest names in Balkan music will finally visit Norway. Senidah fills the largest concert venues and festivals across Europe and beyond, and is a fixture at the Balkans' biggest festivals. The Balkan Trap Diva, as she is sometimes called in the media, was born in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. She first rose to prominence as the lead singer of the band Muff, but in 2018, the single "Slađana" became her solo breakthrough and began her journey to stardom.
Since then, her strong stage presence and remarkable voice has elevated her to iconic status within the regional urban music scene – and beyond. Today, she is one of the most recognizable, and beloved, Balkan artists on the global stage, known for electrifying concerts. Blending pop, R&B, and trap, her music has become synonymous with the modern sound of the region.

Combining an enormous stage presence and endless curiosity in the studio, Cimafunk has become a force in Cuban music. With a name and image pays tribute to the Cimarrons – Cubans of African descent that resisted slavery, his showmanship re-embodies funk legends from the last century.
He has been called “the Cuban James Brown”, but Cimafunk is also crafting the sonic future of the island. It is a celebration of blackness across borders, oceans and languages – Caribbean music, Detroit funk, New Orleans bass, horns and street-corner vibes, nostalgia and futurism.

Sisso & Maiko
The duo Sisso & Maiko captures the jerky, breakneck energy of singeli, a whirlwind of ideas and influences, distilling the vitality and struggle of life of the fringes into music which seems to reflect the idea of keeping a cool head in frenetic situations.
Born in the sprawling working class neighborhoods of Tandale and Manzese, Singeli’s signature sound consists of fast paced frantic loops interlocking with each other, with influences from Zanzibar's Tarab music all the way to South African afro-house coupled with mc’s who often spit satirical lyrics about the challenges facing Tanzania’s youth, from police corruption to the complications of dating girls when you are broke. At this year's Oslo World, Sisso & Maiko will demonstrate that they are still in the vanguard of Singeli – and exploratory club music worldwide.

Nobody does it like Yung Singh. He is one of the most exciting DJs on the world circuit, having spent the last few years leveling up from local phenomenon to shining global star. Singh’s sets span the full dance music spectrum — from hip-hop and rap to everything in between — all blended seamlessly with his Punjabi roots. Hus output has helped re-energise the British Punjabi and South Asian music scene. Standout performances at South Asian–focused events have cemented his position at the forefront of this cultural resurgence.
